Homeschooling Journal: March 2014 Part 3

In art today we used collage a bit more to decorate a letter. Each kid got their first initial. We focused on filling the white space, mixing colors and adding buttons for dimension.

Spanish: "All About Me" Lapbook
In Spanish, we continued with the "All About Me" lapbook. Today, we sang, we reviewed what Madison missed while away and then we did the Mom and Dad part of our lapbooks. They were coloring, tracing and writing one thing they like about their mom and dad. I helped them translate into Spanish.
For music this past week the kids reviewed note values. We watched Mr. Greg again as he helped the kids count out the note values with a clap and counting. Then we played swat the fly using note values.
