Montessori Culture (History): Family Tree
We only did: child, mom and dad, paternal parents and maternal parents.
We talked about our genealogy and how the tree can keep going and going, getting bigger and bigger both ways (ancestors and descendants).

K insisted on adding his sister to the family tree. That was such a sweet gesture.

We pointed at some animal charts on the wall and named them all (in all 7 languages).

This is the way the animals sleep...

We used pre-copied pictures of animals, but it would also be fun to look through some National Geographic Kids magazines to find cool pictures to use.

Dinner was so fresh tonight. I had shredded chicken and then chopped: cilantro, cucumber, celery. For dressing, I mixed a little bit of creamy balsamic vinagrette and the juice of one lemon. It was delicious!
