Daily Routine

We have a bin with our daily routine activities. In it, we have,

- McGuffey's Reader
- Custom-made prayer cards (We made a list for every day of the week. Some items are in all the cards and others vary.)
- Latin review
- Classical Conversations Review

Montessori Culture (History): Family Tree

We only did: child, mom and dad, paternal parents and maternal parents.
We talked about our genealogy and how the tree can keep going and going, getting bigger and bigger both ways (ancestors and descendants).

 

K insisted on adding his sister to the family tree. That was such a sweet gesture.

Teach My Preschooler Portfolio

This is what we got for our street from Amazon. It comes in a set of two. They are great. I put a rock inside each (has zippers at the bottom) to stabilize them and done.

                                           

Bible: God made the Animals

We talked about God creating animals on Day 6 of the Creation account.
We pointed at some animal charts on the wall and named them all (in all 7 languages).

We looked around the playroom and found different animals (in pictures, stuffed animals, etc). Then we sang an animal song from the Karyn Henley book.

This is the way the bunnies hop early in the morning.

This is the way the birdies fly...


This is the way the elephants walk...


This is the way the monkeys climb...


This is the way the lions roar...


This is the way the cheetahs run...

This is the way the animals sleep...

Then we made a craft with animals. We cut them, pasted them and wrote "Thank you, God, for making animals."
We used pre-copied pictures of animals, but it would also be fun to look through some National Geographic Kids magazines to find cool pictures to use.

Our new glass water bottles. We love them! Why? because they are well-protected and we can put essential oils in our water! I love Christmas Spirit or Citrus Fresh in mine, but my children love to try new things every time. Today, K had Harmony. It was great! One drop is all you need to flavor this entire bottle!

Beautiful girl and delicious food. :)
Dinner was so fresh tonight. I had shredded chicken and then chopped: cilantro, cucumber, celery. For dressing, I mixed a little bit of creamy balsamic vinagrette and the juice of one lemon. It was delicious!
