Here are some of our boy activities: pretend shaving with dad using a tongue scraper and t-ball practice at home.

  

Here is our girly activity (one of her favorites): flower arranging.

  

My children LOVE our homemade kombucha brew! He helps me take the black tea bags out of their pouches.

Here is how we made a very refreshing and healthy mix to make popsicles.
In a manual food processor, I put chopped up strawberries and kiwi fruit. Pumped until fruit is in small chunks, but not purée.

 

Then I transferred to a glass pitcher and added water and a drop of lavender and lemon essential oils. Now the mix is ready to pour into popsicle molds. The leftover mix can be drank and it is just as refreshing.

Praying for a good day and for good behavior for Brother.

  

We had a short homeschooling session today. Reading some fiction. The Magic Tree House books are fun for children this age.

  

We love to relax and have fun at the river on weekends.

  

     

 

Practical Life activities are favorites here at home: helping juice and hanging out with friends.

Homeschooling a Toddler

We traced circles with finger and then with a primary pencil. We have a lefty!

  

Well, she actually goes back and forth between left and right, but definitely favors her left hand. Here, we learned about the letter A, traced it with a pencil and with a marker and then learned about the story of creation.

  

Then we practices our fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination some more by making fishy movements holding our two hands together and by tracing and coloring the number zero.

  

We moved on to the mat to practice sight words that have pull-out pictures.

And we reviewed our numbers 1-5 using finger puppets from our Teach My Baby set.

  

Then we reviewed our numbers 1-10 using cards and read some simple phonics books.

    

And finally, we used plastic shapes in different sizes to learn shapes and the words "small, medium, large."
