Montessori Botany: Parts of a Flower

This is a lesson that we will be looking at more in depth in Classical Conversations in a few weeks, so I thought it was very timely to study this very basic introduction to the parts of a flower.
First, we started out with nomenclature in our binder.
Then, we used the nomenclature cards to match them.
I finally got to bring in the surprise: a bouquet of flowers to study their parts!
So wonderful seeing the parts first-hand!
This is the puzzle with the parts of a flower.

Such a sweet and peaceful setup.
K enjoyed putting the puzzle together
over and over as he was mentioning
the different parts of the flower.
