Some of Our Favorite Fall Books

Fall is definitely our favorite season. We love the weather, the season change, the leaves falling, the cinnamon smells, the pumpkin flavors, the celebrations... in other words, we love everything!
To make Fall even more special, we go to our local library to pick some seasonal books. Every year, without fail, we are able to add more books to our "Fall Favorites" list. Here are some that made it on the list. We are only showing you the ones that we absolutely loved and enjoyed reading together.

Simple Apple Mosaic Craft for Preschoolers

Everyone loves apples, right? And who doesn't love simple crafts to have fun with preschoolers? Well, why not a craft with apples in it?
A wonderful and incredibly creative mom from our co-op organized this activity. All the children really enjoyed it. And the best part is that this same mosaic concept can be used for other shapes or even for themed pictures.

Montessori Culture (History): The Four Seasons

We read this book (it is bilingual, so we learned several Spanish vocabulary words).
Then we opened each folder dedicated to each season. I simply found images from the internet that depicted the gist of that season. I printed them out and glued them onto colored cards that match the season's folder. These are for personal, in-home use, and that is why I am not linking to the images. This is an easy diy project and it doesn't take too long either.
