My favorite time of year, hands down, is Fall. The change of season, the change of weather, the crisp sweater feel, the leaves, the smells...and the spices, oh yes, the spices! I love cinnamon and I am so excited to share with you a delicious recipe that not only children will enjoy, but it is healthy and they can actually help you make.
I have a super amazing bonus, you will enjoy 17+ recipes that you can make with your children this Fall (or any time of year) in this wonderful round-up.
These are such amazing cookies! They are light and fluffy, almost cake-like and with an awesome spiced pumpkin flavor. Try this recipe out. They are amazing!
Yes, I sampled the one on the bottom, just to make sure. :)
This year, my father will be celebrating 40 years of working for the same company (he's moved around in different division within the company, but he has had the tenacity, diligence and discipline to work with the same company for that long. What an accomplishment! We are so proud of him! We couldn't be there for his celebration/ceremony, but we sent this video to him. :)
In Spanish, we started with a bilingual rap. We would tap our laps and
go, "one, two, three, four, uno, dos, tres, cuatro." Then we'd stand up,
dance and go, "dance, baila, dance, baila, etc." Then we went, "clap,
aplaude," "turn around, da vueltas." Everyone had fun, especially with
the free dance part. Then we reviewed everything that we have been learning.
Afterwards, we did our Fall activity, reviewing the colors and introducing Fall vocabulary.
