All-Natural Homemade Lotion Gift Idea

For Christmas, I decided to make the family my super awesome, all-natural homemade moisturizing lotion and put a different essential oil in each one. I got these really cute quilted mason jars and added the label. This can be used for gifts any time of year, though, not just Christmas.

Scrapbook paper was perfect. I cut out circles to fit, wrote their names on each ones and laminated them. I cut them out and hot glued them to the metal lids. They turned out great! I am sure they will love them!

Materials:

-  Scrapbook paper or any pretty paper you have around

-  A nice pen or marker (I wish my metallic one hadn't dried out!)

-  A laminator and laminating sheets (optional) You can leave it as is 

   (without lamination) or use clear packing tape instead.

-  A hot glue gun and hot glue sticks

-  4oz mason jars (or any wide mouth glass jar with a tight-fitting lid)

How to:

1. Use the mason jar lids to trace circles on the scrapbook paper.

2. Cut the circles out.

3. Write the person's name, a message or the ingredients on the 

    front of the circle.

4. Laminate the circles.

5. Cut them out, leaving a small lip around the scrapbook paper 

    to make it waterproof.

6. Hot glue the circles to the metal circle on the mason jar and 

    also hot glue it to the ring.

7. Close the jar with it to make sure that the hot glue isn't in the 

    way of it sealing properly.

That's it for the jar part! You can use these for any gifts, not just lotion.
